Eggology History

Brad Halpern, CEO, founded Eggology in California in 1993. Although the company began selling egg white products as body building beverages, they now sell additional products  such as yolkless ice cream, baked goods, kosher food, and organic pet food.

Eggology is a multimillion dollar business and a lot of this is based on the high standard of quality maintained by the company. A USDA inspector actually has an office at Eggology’s headquarters to ensure that all quality and safety standards are met.

In addition to having been certified as a business that raises and handles their animals humanely by the Humane Farm Animal Care organization, Eggology also uses the USDA Organic seal with pride; its other seals include CK Dairy, K Parve, USDA Inspected, and the recyclable logo.

Eggology has been featured on Oprah, The Food Network, and Good Morning America. They have also appeared in various printed news media.

Eggology On The Go and Other Inventions

Eggology On-the-Go was invented in 2005 and is one of the patents held by Eggology today. The product is in a microwaveable container that holds four egg whites that scramble when heated in the microwave.

Another invention made by Eggology is their cold case delivery method. In order to preserve freshness, eggs are collected and packaged fresh very quickly. They are then shipped in cold cases in order to preserve their freshness.

Additionally, egg whites are packaged in clear plastic jars to avoid bacteria that can thrive on standard egg cartons. The egg whites are also free of chemicals and food colors that are found in other egg white products.

Eggology Products

Eggology makes various products that can be placed into six different categories. The categories are Eggology Egg Whites, Eggology On-the-Go, Food Service, All Natural Hardboiled Eggs, Athletes and Body Builders, and Eggcellent Recipes.

100% Egg Whites from Eggology are available in either original or organic form. They come in 16 ounce, 32 ounce, 64 ounce, and 128 ounce jars. These eggs are cage free, kosher, and USDA approved, and can be used for cooking, baking, scrambling, or even for drinking.

On-the-Go Scramblers from Eggology make scrambled eggs quick and easy anywhere you have access to a microwave. In 95 seconds you can have fluffy scrambled eggs to enjoy at home, at work, or even at the gym. Eggology On-the-Go Original comes in two packs or four packs.

In addition to Egg Whites and On-the-Go Scramblers, Eggology sells hardboiled eggs, sugared yolks, whole eggs, and yolks. They also produce mini cakes, muffins, and Cool Cravings ice cream. Many restaurants and hotels use Eggology products for their meal preparation.
