Promax Progress

While there are countless nutrition, protein, carbohydrate, and energy bars on the market today, Promax touts itself as being the first delicious energy bar that is packed with protein (18-20 grams).

Since 2010, Promax has added new tasting bars, as well as tweaking the original look of the original bars, all the while continuing to have success in the marketplace.

Moreover, Promax has recently come out with Promax LS, which is a new line of bars that are all natural and stevia sweetened. With only 9 grams of sugar, and 14 grams of fiber, these bars are soon to be another notch in the Promax belt.

Promax Products

Promax has 9 different bars in their core flavors, and 2 bars in their new LS flavors. The core flavors are comprised of 20 grams of protein, 18 vitamins and minerals, and all natural ingredients.

Some have negatively commented on the bars having too much sugar, and not a good enough balance between the protein and carbohydrate content.

While not every customer loved the taste of the bars, an overwhelming percentage of customers were absolutely thrilled with the taste and texture of these products. Moreover, some people positively commented on the easy digestibility of the Promax bars.

Customers are both using this bar to gain muscle and to cut weight, which is a unique combination. Also, many use the bar as a meal replacement, due to the fullness the bars give you once digested.

Lastly, the price point on these bars has people very excited. Affordable is a word that kept coming up while doing research for this product.

Hands down, Promax provides a solid nutritional product and a price anyone is willing to shell out.

Promax Marketing Campaign

Promax does not try to hit a certain segment of the body building or athletic markets; they are on a crash course with trying to capture the entire protein and energy bar market. With their “Doer” campaign in 2011, they are trying to target any and all people who are active in some form or the other in their daily lives.

Unlike some energy bars that are designed for the serious athlete, Promax seems to take the approach that we are all have the propensity to be “Doers” and inspire people around us on a daily basis.

If you look at the company’s website you will see pictures of all types of activities and people who seemingly love the Promax lifestyle. It’s a shrewd business move by Promax in trying to take on all comers.

The reason why Promax may be able to pull off this blanket approach to the protein bar product, is the same way Gatorade transitioned from being a drink for athletes, to a drink for people being active – by changing its taste profile.

Promax was already a great tasting product. This is why it attracts the weekend warrior who wants to feel healthy, but not at the cost for ingesting a cardboard tasting bar.

The serious athlete will be pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors that can be had from this nutritious energy bar. To compare Promax energy bars with similar ones that are currently available, use the free supplement finder now!
