Shocker Nutrition ScienceShocker Nutrition does have a science section on their website. Each of the product that they have information on that they believe is scientific is included in this section. The problem is, as with many nutritional supplement sites, leaps are made regarding the so called science behind their ingredients. For example, Shocker sites a study conducted in 1999 wherein the subjects used green tea with caffeine and those that used this combination burned more calories than those who didn’t. The problem is, Shocker takes this a step further and claims that this means that thermogenesis occurs when these two ingredients are combined. This claim isn’t borne out by the results of this study. Even though the Shocker Nutrition website are showing some published studies doesn’t mean that the conclusions that Shocker Nutrition has reached is correct. You need to read the conclusion of the panel of peers who reviewed the final information rather than the conclusions of Shocker Nutrition.
