Sopharma Today

Sopharma is currently led by Dr. Ognian Donev who is the CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. It now sells a variety of product lines including several types of pharmaceuticals, natural supplements, essential oils, and cosmetic products.

Sopharma Products

Sopharma is currently marketing approximately 80 products under the following categories:

• Pharmaceuticals including both over-the-counter and prescription drugs

Many of Sopharma’s products are only available through a physician. Still others, such as many of their natural supplements, essential oils, and cosmetics, can be purchased online.

Sopharma Tabex

Tabex is a breakthrough formula designed to help people quit smoking. It is made from the extract of the Golden Rain Tree and also contains the chemical Cytisine.

While Tabex has been used successfully in Bulgaria and several European countries for many years, it is still undergoing clinical trials and is not yet regularly available in other countries.

Sopharma Carsil

The active ingredient in Carsil is Silymarin which is derived from Milk Thistle and Bulgarian White Thorn. It is designed to help improve liver function in patients with liver disorders (hepatitis, cirrhosis) or patients taking other supplements that may be harmful to the liver such as anabolic steroids.

Sopharma Rose Oil Cosmetics Line

The Sopharma Rose Oil line of cosmetics is designed to help reduce the effects of aging through the use of various creams and oils all derived from roses.

These flowers have strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, toning, and hydrating effects, and the products have been shown in trials to reduce wrinkle depth up to 50% after four weeks of use.

Sopharma Apple Pectin

Apple pectin is a dietary supplement with several benefits. It can help to improve overall health and fitness, as well as:

• Promote a healthy cerebral-vascular system
• Reduce cholesterol levels

Natural E consists of wheat germ oil and all natural vitamin E. It is a powerful antioxidant and can help in the treatment or prevention of several conditions including:

Sopharma Lavender Cosmetics Line

The Lavender Cosmetics Line consists of shampoo, hair balsam, shower gel, and lotions. The lavender plant is said to have calming properties and can help improve your mood and self-confidence.

Sopharma Website Review

Sopharma actually has multiple websites. They have their regular site in Bulgarian, the same site translated into English, and a Sopharma U.S. site.

While the Bulgarian Sopharma site is often translated literally and therefore can be confusing, it offers more information on the products than the Sopharma U.S. website does.

All of the Sopharma websites are poorly designed; however, making them challenging to clearly understand and follow. The translated Sopharma site was created with a very small font size making it difficult to read.

One promising aspect of the Sopharma sites is a form that physicians can complete in order to report any adverse side effects or drug interactions with any of Sopharma’s products. The form is to be filled out by physicians only; however, there does not seem to be a way of ensuring that only doctors are completing the form.
