Utrition Website

This reviewer tries not to put too much weight on marketing for reviews.  But, when a company seems to be as presumptuous as Utrition it's something that must be addressed.

The Utrition website is extremely basic and scant.  That's not necessarily a criticism, but the website is lacking in depth information that is usually provided by nutritional supplement manufacturers.

The company's Description page is a good example of why this is critical. On this page Utrition tells us all about how wonderful their manufacturing process is then simply leaves us to take their word for it.

Utrition's use of terminology and industry lingo, combined with vocabulary words from a modern school of business, results in a presentation that seems a bit stuffy and overbearing. This is in contrast to some other sites where the presentation is more down to earth and in language that we all use every day.

It's obvious that Utrition has a large enough customer base to keep them a healthy business, but it doesn't seem as though their marketing would appeal to a wide range of customers.

Utrition and Liquid Vitamin Plus

Utrition only carries a few products. They are all in the liquid format and all have their own specific needs they address.

Liquid Vitamin Plus contains vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, and all the B vitamins.  It also contains grape seed, glucosamine, green tea, and 65 trace minerals.

Utrition also makes Liquid Vitamin Plus in a zero calorie, zero carbohydrate formula.

Utrition and Liquid Joint Repair

The second product, Liquid Joint Repair, is a liquid joint health supplement with ingredients specially designed to encourage healthy joints and improve already deteriorating ones.  It contains glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, and MSM.

Utrition and Liquid Coral Calcium

The third product is a liquid made up primarily of coral calcium which is allegedly more easily absorbed into the body than traditional calcium.  Liquid Coral Calcium also contains magnesium and vitamin D.

Several other former supplement manufacturers have been sued by the FDA in the past for making false claims about coral calcium. Today the debate rages on.

Is coral calcium better than any other type of calcium, and are the supposed benefits are worth the increased costs? There are no hard and fast studies which suggest coral calcium is better than its alternatives.

Utrition Supplement Availability

Utrition supplements are available from the company website as well as other online retailers like GNC and the Vitamin Shoppe. The company website lists half a dozen online retailers and an equal number of brick-and-mortar retailers around the country.

This list is by no means conclusive as an internet search of the company name will show. According to Utrition, they have four main American distributors whom they list on their website.

Retailers interested in carrying Utrition products can do so simply by contacting one of the distributors.

Utirtion Product Pricing

As far as prices are concerned, Utrition supplements are fairly reasonable. They range from $17.99 for the coral calcium and $26.99 cents for the liquid vitamin formula.

All three supplements come in different sizes and dosages that you'll be check in order to compare with other similar products. Even if one bottle lasts just 30 days, their prices are very reasonable.

Other supplement companies can charge upwards of $45 or $50 for a 30 day supply. These prices are direct from the Utrition website; other retailers will have varying price lists.

Utrition Product Information

Despite all of the criticisms of Utrition, they do provide a good deal of information about their individual supplements. Each supplement description page includes a fact sheet and a lab analysis of all ingredients.

Just be sure to understand that these resources do not indicate any sort of clinical testing that proves the efficacy of Utrition's products. The ingredients the company uses have been, for the most part, already proved effective for the purposes for which they are intended. The exception to that rule is coral calcium.
