  1. The twist must be done quickly and accurately in order to make the jump. Take your time and start out slow until you become comfortable with the movement.
  2. To find the appropriate rope length hold onto each handle and step on the rope with both feet together. Bring handles up to your armpits. If the handles are about armpit length then it is the correct rope length.
  3. Start out slow and get into a rhythm. Once you are able to get three in a row you should have no problem performing as many as needed.

Variations

  1. Performing with one foot at at time. Alternate back and forth, switching feet after each jump.
  2. Jump as high as you can and try to swing the rope around as many times as you can.
