diamond push-up is a calisthenics exercise that primarily targets the chest and to a lesser degree also targets the abs, triceps, lower back and shoulders.

The only diamond push-up equipment that you really need is the following: exercise mat. There are however many different diamond push-up variations that you can try out that may require different types of diamond push-up equipment or may even require no equipment at all.

  2. As always keep your body in straight line. Do not let your hips sag down.
  3. Breathe. Be sure to exhale when pushing up and inhaling on way down.

  1. Place feet on flat bench to perform a decline diamond push-up.
  2. Have a partner place a weight plate on your back. Perform exercise as usual.
  3. If possible use only one hand for an intense workout.
