farmer's walk is a free weights exercise that primarily targets the shoulders and to a lesser degree also targets the traps, forearms, quads, calves, lower back and glutes.

The only farmer's walk equipment that you really need is the following: dumbbells. There are however many different farmer's walk variations that you can try out that may require different types of farmer's walk equipment or may even require no equipment at all.

  1. Walk for 10 seconds then go down into a lunge and walk for another 10 seconds. Keep doing this as long as you can.

    Doesn't farmers carry work the biceps too?
