    Bulgarian split squats are the most painful exercises ever, and this one is even worse than the normal...

      I would definitely second this. These are brutal - especially if you do them from an extra tall bench (like a box for box jumps or a tall massage table or something) and then put your front leg out really far). These are legit if you do these right.
