- Step 1: Lacrosse needs at least two players to play and you need a lacrosse stick and ball. To start the game the ball is placed on the ground and a player from each team battle for the ball when the referee blows the whistle.
- Step 2: The object of the game is to throw the ball in the goal using your lacrosse stick. You can run with the ball or pass the ball to a teammate.
- Step 3: The defense is trying to intercept the ball on a pass or strip the ball from you with their stick.
- Step 4: When throwing the ball you need to make sure that you have a good base with your feet and that you snap the stick forward with your arms so that the pass or shot is accurate and has speed on it.
- Step 5: When running with the ball in your stick make sure that you keep a strong hand on the stick and that you continue to move the stick so that it is not easy for the defense to strip the ball from you.
- Step 6: The goal of the game is to score more points by putting the ball in the net then the other team.
