  3. As you catch the ball drop down into the next squat. Repeat this motion for the prescribed reps.

  1. Perform with a wide stance (sumo stance).
  2. Perform with heels on a raise surface (2-3 inches high).
  3. Jump off the ground as you come up out of the squat and throw the ball in the air.

    This is a great exercise for building explosiveness and even cardiovascular endurance. The key though is that you must THROW the medicine ball while exploding upwards - don't just merely give it a little toss. :)
