Since this piece of advice is often overlooked, we’re going to give it to you straight: Don’t ignore the assisting and stabilizing muscles! With the big picture as our goal (a.k.a. sculpted abs or 500-lb. deadlifts), ignoring the details is way too easy.

To prevent workout tunnel vision and the dreaded plateaus that come with it, Suzanne suggests thinking small.
Rather than focusing on only the big picture, try thinking about the individual muscles that lead to a perfect squat or killer clean and jerk.
Once those assisting and stabilizing muscles are given some extra attention, you’ll start seeing serious gains!
