If you thought your vertical jump was the least of your worries, think again.
In this #MotivationMonday, we’re bringing you some solid proof that improving your vertical jump is the key to improving your basketball skills. It’s all the motivation you’ll need to start upping your vertical game.
Ready? Watch the video below to watch one of Paul Fabritz‘s high-school athletes reach a height of 11 feet with his combined vertical jump and physical height.
Pretty impressive, isn’t it? The most impressive part, though, is not the fact that these athletes are in high school but that Fabritz’s athletes reach heights of 11 feet and greater on a regular basis!
So, why is a vertical jump of four feet so important? The logic is actually pretty simple: A higher, stronger vertical jump means a better layup, a better jump shot, a better dunk, and better overall athleticism.
And when we say “better,” we don’t just mean in form; we mean accuracy too.
What’s your current vertical jump? What are your vertical jump goals? Tell us in the comments below!
