It’s Monday, which means that it’s time for another motivational story to start your week off strong!
Today we’re sharing Kellie Davis‘s fitness story with you! Kellie is the creator of FitThrive.com and a freelance writer and co-author.
According to Kellie, her story involves no amazing transformations or quick-fixes. Instead, it’s a story of good ol’ determination.
Back in 2005, Kellie was 26-years-old and completely out of shape. As a former competitive, award-winning high school athlete, Kellie’s condition was a shock to her, and she realized that she had to reverse what she saw in the mirror every day.
So, Kellie “dug her heels in” and trained consistently and determinedly. Now, she’s the fittest, happiest, healthiest, and most grounded version of herself.
Of course, she experienced a few bumps along the way, but as she puts it, “you defy odds, stumble gracefully, and get back up again.”
The most important thing that Kellie learned is that she could never revert back to her high school or college-aged body. Instead, she had to move forward and create a new body that fits who she is now.
