Exercise.com sat down with Exercise.com sam_mudrick for a quick interview. Keep reading to check out more about this successful user!

Tell us a little about your background and where you’re from.

I’m 28 and work in social media fundraising out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Who/what got you started with working out? How long have you been working out consistently?

Working out consistently for about a year.  My buddy Michael got me started, and I was hooked.

What are your current workout goals?

Get rid of the beer weight I gained in my early 20’s, put on some mass and then define it. I’ve always been the skinny-fat kid, meaning no muscle ton and a stomach.

What’s your favorite style of training?

Plyometrics.

What’s your favorite post-workout meal?

Don’t tell my trainer, but it’s McDonald’s. There’s one right next to my gym and it calls my name every time.

How important is logging your workouts for making progress?

I’m a data dork, so being able to see progress visually helps motivate me.

What’s the best fitness advice you’ve been given?

“You’re fine, it’s just a little pain, you won’t die,” – Marty Heben

Finally, give us an interesting fact about yourself to remember you by!

I was in the movie Jersey Girl.
