How do I add a credit card to a client’s account?

Here’s how to add a credit card to your client’s account, starting from the “Clients” tab of your Dashboard. Step-by-step instructions are below:

Step-by-Step Guide: Manual Card Entry
Step 1: Hover over the gear icon for the client you want to edit, then click the “Payment Details” option.
Step 2: Click the “Manage Credit Cards” button.
Step 3: Enter your client’s credit card information and click “Add Card” to save it to their profile.
Now you can keep your client’s billing information up to date!
Step-by-Step Guide: Swiping Cards with a Card Reader
Step 1: Hover over the gear icon for the client you want to edit, then click the “Payment Details” option.
Step 2: Click the “Manage Credit Cards” button.
Step 3: Select your Card Reader from the dropdown menu.
If you don’t see the card reader options, click the “or, swipe credit card” link.
Once the card reader is connected, you’ll see the name of the reader and the “Start Swipe Card” button.
Step 4: Click the “Start Swipe Card” button.
Your card reader screen will display a prompt to insert or swipe the card.
Step 5: Swipe or insert your client’s card, and wait for confirmation to remove the card.
Step 6: Remove the card when prompted.
The card will be added to your client’s profile, and you can keep your client’s billing information up to date!
