Overview of the Apple Developer Account – Organization
All establishments that wish to take advantage of the custom-branded apps created by Exercise.com and would like to publish an iOS app are required to enroll in the Apple Developer program.
To enroll in the Apple Developer Program, you will need to pay a $99 (USD) annual publisher fee – charged by Apple.
Please follow the steps below to complete the Apple Developer Account Program.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Create an Apple ID.
If you already have an Apple ID, please move on to #2. Please note that creating an Apple ID is not the same as creating an Apple Developer account. Follow this link to learn how to create Your Apple ID.
Step 2: Request a D-U-N-S Number.
A D-U-N-S Number is a numeric qualifier allocated to a business/company by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). You cannot enroll in the Apple Developer Program without a D-U-N-S Number. For more information about the D-U-N-S Number please click here.
Follow this link to look up if you already have a D-U-N-S Number. If you don’t you can REQUEST one there.
Step 3: Enroll in the Apple Developer Program.
After you have received your D-U-N-S Number, you can enroll in the Apple Developer Account Program. Follow the instructions HERE to complete this step.
Step 4: Confirm and pay for your Apple Developer Program membership.
You can complete this step via the confirmation email Apple sends once you have enrolled.
Step 5: Invite the Exercise.com team to your App Store Connect.
After you have successfully enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, you must invite the Exercise.com team to your App Store Connect so we can create/manage/update your app, create your app. Follow the instructions listed HERE to complete this step.
*Note: If your business is a corporation (e.g., LLC, Incorporated, etc.), you must enroll as an organization. If your business is a sole proprietorship, you must enroll as an individual.
*Note: If Apple updates the license agreement for the Apple Developer Program before your Achieve Client App is assembled, you must accept the agreement before your app can be built.
*Note: When you are paying for your Apple Developer Program membership, review your purchase details and select Automatic Renewal. If you do not select Automatic Renewal, please set an annual reminder to renew your membership. Your app will be removed from the App Store within 24 hours upon the expiration of your membership.
