Barcode Scanning for Check-In
Here’s how to use barcode scanning for check-ins using your Gym Management Software, starting from the Client App Dashboard. View the Barcode Scanner Setup article for information on how to set up the barcode scanner feature.
Open Gym Check-In
If the client has no appointments scheduled for the day and open gym check-in is enabled, then on their app dashboard there will be a gym check-in reminder.
After tapping on the reminder they will get access to the barcode that can be scanned at the check-in scanner.
Smart Check-In
If the client has an appointment scheduled for the day then on their app dashboard there will be a check-in reminder for that appointment.
After tapping on the reminder they will get access to the barcode that can be scanned at the check-in scanner.
After checking in, their app dashboard will update and show that they have completed the check-in.
If the client has multiple appointments scheduled for the day, the smart check-in will check them in to the next upcoming session for the day. The reminder on their app dashboard will also update with the upcoming appointment.
View Check-Ins
You can view check-ins for a specific client from the “Clients” tab of your dashboard.
Hover over the gear icon and select “Visits” from the fly out menu.
View session visits or filter gym check-ins.
You can also view all check-ins from the “Schedule” tab of your dashboard. Select “Manage Visits” from the drop-down.
