How do I sell customized plans?

With the Exercise.com platform, you can sell customized plans by creating and managing products within your system.

1. Click the Arrow Menu

2. Click the Arrow Menu Next to the Products Tab

Scroll down, then click the arrow icon next to the Products tab to expand additional product options.

3. Select the Products Tab

Click “Products” to view the list of available products to manage your store offerings.

4. Create a New Product

Click “Create New Product” to start building a customized plan for sale.

5. Enter Product Basic Information

Enter the product’s basic information, including its name, category, description, and any notes intended for product purchasers.

6. Add Product Image and Thank You Message

Upload a product image, and optionally add a custom Thank You message for purchasers.

7. Set Access and Organization Options

You can add an alternate Thank You page link, choose to automatically add purchasers as managed clients, and assign resources to a group if the purchaser is a member.

8. Open Payment Settings

Click “Payment” on the left-hand menu to configure product payment options.

9. Configure Product Payment

Enter the product price, choose whether to disable Stripe tax, and select a product type.

10. Set Payment Destination

Select the revenue destination for payment splitting. You may also enable “Use the location of the staff member charging the product as the Revenue Destination” to route payments automatically. If the staff member doesn’t have a Stripe-connected location, the system will fall back to the selected revenue destination.

11. Open the Product Variants Tab

Click “Variants” to manage different versions of the product or create variant types.

12. Set Defaults for New Variants

Set defaults for new variants such as cost, SKU, publishing channels, and inventory options.

13. Add Product Options

Add product options to differentiate or customize product variations.

14. Edit Product Variants

Click the Edit Mode button next to the Product Variants section to edit or customize product variants. You can upload a photo, set the price, manage availability, SKU, publishing channels, cost, minimum quantity, and barcode; enable or disable Track Inventory and Block Out-of-Stock Sales; and manage inventory by location.

15. Manage Product Files

Click “Files” to upload or manage files such as PDFs or guides related to the product.

Upload files directly to attach them to your product.

17. Open the Product Videos Tab

Click “Videos” to add or manage video content such as demonstrations or promotional videos for the product.

You can add YouTube or Vimeo links to your product. Once done, click “Save Product” to complete setup.

19. Navigate to the Plans Section

Click “Plans” to connect or create workout plans linked to your products.

20. Create or Edit a Plan

Create a new plan or edit an existing one to customize your client offering.

21. Click the Clients Icon

Click the Clients icon to open additional plan management options.

22. Assign the Plan to a Client

Search for and select the client to add the plan to their calendar.

23. Review Plan Options with the Client

You can enable or disable the following options:

  • Give access to the entire plan
  • Schedule plan as client calendar
  • Send the client a “New Workouts Added” notification

You can also set the plan start date, import as scheduled or by selected days, and require clients to log workouts before advancing.

24. Confirm and Assign the Plan

Choose the first workout date and repetition settings, then click “Add Plan to Client” to finalize.
