How to Enable Trainers to Respond as Themselves

To enable trainers to respond as themselves in the new messages view within your fitness business management software platform, follow the instructions below.
Introducing our new feature that allows trainers to respond in messages as themselves. This feature is only applicable in the new messages view.
1. Trainer Account
Logged in as the head trainer, access your account settings.
2. Customize Platform
Click on Customize Platform.
3. View all Staff Member Messages
Enable the “View all Staff Member Messages” feature in order to view messages of all staff members. Scroll down and save.
4. Messages
Navigate to the Messages tab.
5. Select Message
Select an existing message thread from a staff member to a client.
6. Enter Message
Enter a message.
7. Click the send icon.
Click the send icon button to send the message.
8. Verify the warning message.
You will be prompted with a warning indicating that this conversation is not owned by you.
9. Send
Click the Send button.
10. Verify Sender
Review the message details to check the sender. It should display the head trainer’s name.
11. Select Staff Member
Back under the “Account” settings, go to the “Trainers” tab. Select the specific staff member to adjust their permissions.
12. Can Manage All
Update the staff member’s permission under Messages. Change to “Can manage all” and save. Updating this permission will allow the staff member to view all other staff member’ messages.
13. Message Thread
A staff member with this permission setting will be able to send messages as themselves on any conversation. Logged in as the staff member, go to the “Messages” tab and select a conversation between another staff member and a client.
14. Send Message
Enter a message and click on the send icon.
15. Warning Message
View the warning indicating that this conversation is not owned by you.
16. Verify Sender
Review the message details to check the sender. It should display the staff member’s name.
By using this feature, trainers can effectively communicate and keep clear who is responding to whom.
